Motor Mounts

I was wondering if what people are using as far as aftermarket mounts for the d17. I cheked Hasport and they didn't have any. My stock mounts are giving out due to the amout of torque my 7thgen is pushing out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Energy Suspension

Right now I'm using polyurethain energy suspension motor mounts. I think they run like 25 - 30 bucks.

Just to let you know, I did have problems installing the back motor mount insert because they are not necessarily made for the motor mount. I believe they are made for like and 04 or something...I have an 02

I had the same problems when I started boosting. I broke 3 motor mounts, I broke the front twice and the left side once lol. I agree they suck under heavy torque loads. I had nose lift like takeoff in a plane. But like that guy said, there are these inserts you install with your stock motor mounts to stiffen it up. I forgot where it was from, some guy on here just gave me the link.

I had to trim my rear ES insert, but right now everything is all good. Got some cabin vibration, but that's expected.

pretty sure, I've read on a couple threads that people have had problems with the rear inseart. I just took a hobby knife to the insert to get them in.

I definately needed the inserts b/c I broke/ripped my motor mount with little to no mods, and like in a month or two I'll be boosting, yeah! So I needed them.

I had mine sitting around for about 1 year. today i finally installed them. the rear is a biatch to install after trimming some of the stock mount the bracket that goes over the bushing was to tight, i had to rub the back of the bushing on the concrete to wear it down some to make it fit, it still was a tight fit but its in. the front was simple and quick. i definitely notice a difference on the take off and there is no more wheel hop. but there is a whole lot of vibration.

Was going to ask if any1 knew if these would fit an auto tranny, but http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/hon1.html says it's only for manuals. So does any1 know if they can be trimmed/modded to fit an auto?

is the cabin vibration just at idle, or all the time? also i heard that even if your mount is torn, that with the insert it will feel the same as if it wasnt torn with an insert.

It doesn't mater if they are torn or not this is almost the same as putting new mount in. the vibration is really bad at idle. and not so bad wile driving but you can still feel it. honestly i dont like how it feels.
