Urgent, need some help
I have an automatic civic lx 01.. Today I got my zex wet nitrous kit install with 55 shot. I also had change the spark plugs to NGK v power
Anyways.. I was trying to do some burnout but i was dumb.. I put on the e-brake and held my brake down.. then i step on the gas until it was around 2500 rpm then i hit the nitrous button and floor my car to WOT.. My car burned out but then... as it was burning out, the entire car shut down.. I open my hood.. and the block in the front was red hot.. I let it cool off for about 20 min then everything was fine again..
Any one has any opinion on what had happen?
I think the O2 sensor shut off my car cause it was overheating.. luckili i didnt blow anything..

NAWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Oh this is gonna be fun.
You're going to have to elaborate more on "the block in the front" cuz who knows WTF that is. My guess is the manicat... in which case, did you just stuff some giggle juice in it, or did you also try and do some tuning and A/F monitoring as well?
Lesson 1... stupid **** and NAWZZZZZZZ blows up plastic intake manifolds, shoots rods through sides of blocks and launches pistons into valves.
Try not to do stupid ****, and make use of the NAWZZZZZZZZZZZ while you're moving.

well do dumb things and dumb things will happen. your cat heated up from the n20 and rich fuel mixture. you should look into a kamikaze header and o2 sim that gets rid of your cat. your lucky you didn't blow the engine or trans with that smooth move.

The thing that heat up is the thing i cirlced in
As i let it cool off, my car started fine again. Should I check my spark plugs to make sure that it wont detonatE?

yeah, manicat. Nitrous raises EGTs, you're not moving (no airflow) you nuke it. If you're running real hot and real rich, you fuse the cat shut, then no air moves cuz its clogged and you have a bigger problem.
So look at your A/Fs with a wideband, and have the damn thing tuned before you blow it up.

that's your header, properly known as your exhaust manifold. you shouldn't use n20 any time accept while moving, and even then I wouldn't use it in first gear. The auto tranny is weak as ****.
