Fuel cutting out when shifting from first (6000rpms) into second?

I just put in my turbo and now i think the e-manage is not letting me go above 4,000 RPMs and if I push down on the gas (1/2 way) the car shakes. If someone could help me out that would help out a lot. Thanks.
**UPDATE** I can go over 4000rpms. In first gear I can go around 6000rpms and then when I shift into second my engine cuts out and my car goes thud thud thud. The car dosnt shake when this happens but it sounds like its not getting fuel maybe. I got RSX injectors for upgraded fuel.

invest in a code reader if you havent already. Like said above, your car is in limp mode and is more than likely throwing codes. did you ever get the wiring problem figured out? check your map sensor, injector and ignition connections make sure they are not reversed.

its not letting you go past 4000 rpms and shakes at 1/2 throttle but the car runs great? yeah that makes sense. To find the codes you have to have an OBD2 scanner or get it scanned at autozone like places, its free. If you didnt already know that then you probably shouldnt be DIYing a turbo kit/emanage.

Hey guys I just drove it again and I was paying close attention to all the problems I had. The check engine light was on and when I it dosnt cut out the active light on the e-manage is green, but when it acts up around the 4000 rpm range then the active light turns orange. I think its something to do with the RPM wires on my emanage. When I got the turbo kit it was used and already tuned to the d17. So I dont think it is the tuning to the car but the wires to my car.
I'm pretty sure its your O2 Sensor thats throwing the code. I have the same problem. I believe when your emanage flashes oranges it means its dumping more fuel into your motor because its reading boost. Your probably not running a catalytic converter, so the number 2 O2 Sensor is reading rich. Either get an O2 simulator or purchase a highflow cat and place the number 2 O2 sensor after the cat. A tune is also a plus, regardless if the emanage was already tuned to a D17.
Also if you punch the car from 1st gear will the engine rev past 4000rpms? If so the car is in a open loop and i'm pretty sure it'll be your O2 sensor.

Now the interaction is blinking orange when I drive it. When I just started it up I could rev it passed 4000rpms but after I drove it and tryed it again, it wouldn't rev passed 4000rpms. This whole mess is making me mad.

man if the light is blinking that mean pull over and dont drive. i think you have a lean issue, that is what it sounds like to me. are you running the map sensor for the emanage. if so maybe you have it hooked up wrong. eother that or the injector harness. either way its not getting the fuel it needs under load. i wouldnt not drive the car at all like that. you need to take it to a certified greddy mechanic and have it looked at. i dont think you should try this on your own or you might end up looking for a new motor
doesnt sound like an oxygen sensor code, when i had that code it would just add alot of fuel so it would be safe and wouldnt allow as much ignition advance, you can notice the power difference but it would allow you to drive past 4k rpm.
in your case it might be a map issue, get it checked out right away.

Update: Now when I start up the car I can rev it all I want. First gear is fine. 2nd gear is fine. But when I get to 3rd the shaking comes back and then I cant go over past 4000rpm in any gear. Its wierd, the rev limiter kickes in whenever it starts to shake.
Thats not weird, its good, cause if it did not cut your fuel you would prob blow your HG!
Why would you rev it up if you are not tuned? You are just asking for a headache.

SERIOUSLY HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THE THINGS WE HAVE SAID TO YOU!!! i know its hard to have to rely on someone you dont know to help diagnose your car but to me its obvious your not getting the fuel needed yet you still feel its ok to rev the motor
. you need fuel whether it be a fuel pump injectors or just the tune you need more fuel. its cutting out in third i am assuming not in first and second because you keep playing with the tune. what is happening is in 3rd gear you have a higher demand for fuel from the load being put on the motor. i really hope you dont blow this thing because your not listening. that would be a real shame! you need professional help if you cant diagnose this yourself. you obviously dont have the knowledge to complete this, let a professional do it before you blow it up!!

When you start the car is the interaction light supposed to be off or on? If so what color?

its ok... u are giving him advide, he is the one chosing to take it or not... but u are not helping the guy if u telling him. he is over his head... helping, meaning, helping him find the problem and fixing it.... if he doesnt listen to u then dont help... i guess

For sure im going to autozone to get a reading and I have a missing link on the way. I can get the CEL to turn off but after a wile it goes back on again (when i pull the battery and put it back in). Everything seems to be working fine but I think I need a fuel pump, better spark plugs, and a tune.
