What Turbo is this??

I chanced upon tis small turbine, with the word 'M24' on it, together with Garrette and A/R .48

I know its really vague, bt does it sound like a T25 or what turbine is it at all?? All i know is it being a HKS turbine...

Thanks for any comments...

Easiest way to ID a turbo is to pull the housings off and measure the inducer and exducer diameters of the wheels.
M24 is the compressor housing style.

M24 is NOT the turbo. its simply the compressor housing casting mark. There's lots of them, it denotes the size and trim of the compressor housing.
You guys aren't helping him at all. The M24 is not going to ID the turbo definitively.

Take a picture of it and measure the wheels (<---- this is the only true way to know). More than likely its a small T3, but it may also be a T28.
Just identifying the compressor housing isn't enough to pin down the turbo. Look for other IDing marks. If you're sure its an HKS unit, call HKS ask them what they suggest to get a positive ID on it.

it is the stock T3 based turbo off a volvo. Or atleast a very similar one.

I went 13.6 @ 102 mph with that turbo. It is good for a low hp kit. Some T28's can actually out-flow that T3.
