for those that have done the K swap what do you end up doing with the battery ? do you mount it on the driver side somehow or do you mount it in the trunk.

Rep Power: 255 You can relocate it to a couple spots actually.. The trunk, down on the subframe in the front *in front of the transmisions*, Behind the front bumper. Ive seen it all lol. Mine however is in the tunk. lol.. I would post some pictures up, but im about to re-do it. Make it cleaner back there.

Rep Power: 231 yeah but remember NHRA Rules state that if you have relocated your battery to the rear you must have a Battery Kill switch mounted somewhere on the rear.
But yeah I relocated mine to the trunk as well.

Rep Power: 0 Here's mines. I don't have a k20 swap but I did relocate the battery for more room in engine bay for turbo.
Also I would not recommend putting a battery in the drivers compartment because some batteries give off toxic fumes and they leak. Also if you plan to go to the track most tracks won't let you race unless: Battery has a kill switch, Battery is isolated from driver compartment by metal bulkhead and it’s vented out of the car. That’s what my local track says in their rule book other tracks may be different I don’t know.

Rep Power: 0 Here's my simple relocation (and a pic of my new horn). Used welding cable that was a given to me (00). Be sure to route the wire carefully to prevent chaffing, and definately put a fuse on it. I used a 100A fuse.
