yeah but it does determine how well you're going to accelerate if you think about it...a good launch as opposed to bogging off the line...you're gonna get going a lot better with a good launch ofcourse...and if you think about it, I bet if you find a 75 shot with a close 60ft, the 1/8th mile time will be close if not beating your time, and you're running 9psi on a well built set up compared to a 75 shot thats not even tuned...you out power that 75 shot ofcourse, but the 1/8th will be close I'm thinking and I think the torque that nitrous gives in the low end is the reason for it which was my point all along...nitrous is quick in the low end....and its easy to catch a lot of people slippin on the street.

yea it does. But 4 mph is a LOT to pick up on the 1/8th. You can drop the time a whole lot, but MPH is mostly a derivative of power.
I get what you are saying, and i completely agree. The 60' makes a huge improvement on your time.
but if you think about it, when the turbo is fully spooled, the nitrous does not have all that much more of an advantage with only a 75 shot. As you get lower and lower in the RPM range, nitrous has a much greater advantage. But as you get near the uppermost RPM range (where you are when drag racing), the nitrous does not have much of an advantage at all.
Like you said, it has its advantage down low. I dont know about most guys, but i am never below 4500 rpm and never below full boost while drag racing.
