Preventing Boost Spikes

How do we prevent boost spikes? I m drivin an auto, and the spikes during shifts can go 1-2psi higher than presetted...

Using an internal wastegate for now, but would a boost controller solve the prob??

are you a 5 speed or automatic?

If your an auto, you really cant get around it. It would cost too much, and wouldnt be worth it.

I never had that problem when I was boosted with my auto then again I had the TCI auto master overhaul kit and changed to redline fluid so there was hardly no issue of shifting I woudl say try out changing fluid first
