aye vietrice......could i get your contact infor like emal and such so i can contact you when im gonna get this head? or if you can get the z3 headfor me?

i currently work as a service tech at one of the bay area(nor cal) ford dealerships, and i do get at least 20 - 50% off of parts off of my back counter parts department. but ill check with them how much i can get the head for too to see if it can compare to how much you getting it for

yea i know its a ford dealership but we do service other makes and models, and i did get my oem parts through my work when i put in a new rack and pinion and other stuff.....but yea lemme know thanks.

and we can get the head separate? cuz i have a local honda specific junkyard here that i can contact for parts too(i.e. 5 lug conversion, heads, full k20a2 motors....etc) stuff like that.

but please lemme know your contac info and yea....thanks alot man and good luck, keep me posted on this!

Your going to need ebrake cables. i Used the Stock brake lines with the front rotors. If your going to get ips cams later on, i suggest to get 440cc injectors. i would not rev past 7500 on a stock k24 block. but my injectors were maxed out at 7200 rpm. i don't remember the k24 stock injector size, but i know the si's are like 270cc or something. get LSD while the tranny is out. You will regret not getting a LSD once you are tunned and making a crap load of power. THats what wannaturbo is doing right now...

If i were to upgrade to 5 lug, i'd only swap type S fronts. unless you are looking to upgrade those base5 lug to stoptechs or some kind of BBK, its kinda pointless since the base/si/civic are the same size... i think...

if you need any advice, just ask

thanks bro, first ill start out with stock k24 injectors to see what is the max rpm it can take but wouldnt let it gose over 7400 to be safe.

i got a 2005 6 speed trann, but the case was broken, i heard Brian G from hasport that 02-06 SI and RSXs are then same tranny case. so i switched the case with an 06 SI case, all the mounting points are the same but the shifter linkage (im not sure what it is called but i think it called ******* linkage, it is the metal on top of the trann thats about 6") are diifernt mounting so now i have to order a SI shifter linkage. and i got the SI s LSD installed too.

i got a good deal on this 5 lug coversion with all the good stuff axles and midshaft, i didnt want to miss out on a good deal so i took it all.

can i use the alternator and starter from a k20a3 ? i know the parts are interchangetable but the starter is from 5 speed, i dont know if this work or not

yea, all the parts are interchangeable, the tranny case should work. i used k20a2 parts on my k24 block, then i bought a k20a3 block(which im using righ tnow) and switched my water pump, ps, and alt over

Why not? I always thought it was the valvetrain that was limited to revs, not the block.... I've seen plenty of people build those frankenstein B series setups ls/vtec and b20/vtec B20/ls w/ cams & valves and etc.. and I've seen people rev the **** out of them....the stock bottom ends have always held...

a 2.4L and a 2.0L/1.8L are very different.

the K24's have VERY long strokes ... which are not good for revving high. If you wanna rev high, get aftermarket rods, S2k oil pump, new valvetrain and then you can rev to 8500-9000.

otherwise, don't go above 7500-ish with a stock block.

Vietrice507 hasn't been online since July 9th. I think he moved on to bigger and better things, but it would have been nice to see this though.
