We are making headway on the IM and actually trying to keep the TB top mount, but that poses a couple different issues at hand. We will keep you guys updated.
The fuel rail we have not even addressed yet.

Hey!!
Just started on my mission impossible!!! Building from scratch a d17a1 and will love to see your new products. I'm building a custom intake manifold, will have pics soon. HP goal-- 190 at wheels... less than $3-4k

^Maybe so but if I were gunna spend hard earned cashola on a manifold I'd rather spend money on a sidemount. A short runner top mount F/I manifold will probably end up with a sharp-*** bend as soon as it enters the plenum. I'd think a sidemount would flow a little nicer. Any of the manifolds I have made have all been sidemount. Its not that hard to set up on our cars at all. Im sure Dezod will have it all worked out to be as simple and effective as possible.

yep, that may not be a bad idea. Honestly though, I took my piping and just cut the bend off it and spun it and it fit without a problem. The only people that wont like it is the fellas with the t25 tsi kits but really I think its geared toward guys that are going all out with turbos bigger than t25s. Believe it or not there are quite a few people that arent on this site that do have descent d17 civics. I have heard of one not too far from me already making over 300whp, fully built, from a legitimate source. I'd like to see the car in person but I trust my source. Bottom line I think is this, if you are looking for this mod, you need it,and will do whats necessary to make it work. You dont beat the competion by getting your mods handed to you on a silver platter, sacrifices and lots of hard work need to be put in. It just depends on how far you wanna take it. I say do what works best, convienience comes second IMO.

If it is side mount is a kit going to be included to convert anything? I am not sure about this but i think the throttle cables will be extremely long and will have the chance of getting caught up and then all the wires that are connected to the tb what will happen with those?
i agree that nothing comes easy, but im not arguing any of this, all im saying is if I had a business with lots of people planning on buying, i wouldnt go and make such an inconvenient thing for them to mount. i understand that sometimes its worth doing more mods just to make one thing work, like this. but if something is being made from ground up and in development right now, why not just design it to eliminate some of the drawbacks of top moutn and eliminate any need for more modification
he's a great guy and im sure hell figure out what way is best for him though so thats fine.

the throttle cables when converting to a side mount arent bad at all. They actually all hook into the same holders as stock. Its just you start the final bend before you normally would. It fits rather well actually.

I think dezod is incorporating bluetooth wireless for all the sensors.. </sarcasm> Uh yea, some wires may need to be extended. The TPS def will have to be extended, its only like 2 inches.

on my manifold, i didnt extend a single wire. I just cut apart the wire loom an d e-tape to reveal the individual wires, re-ran them to their new places, then re-wire loomed them and re e-taped them. The TPS was the only wire that i almost had to extend
