umm yeah, but you can put a turbo anywhere, you need to bolt a S/C to a bracket so the pulley lines up with the belt system, which severely restricts the location and orientations in which you can arrange it. Last time I looked at the left side of the engine bay, there's not enough room to stick your arm down there none the less put a supercharger.

$3,400 for something that has to be custom fit will will prolly cost you at least another $1000.
Why not just go with a turbo set up that has been proven, will make more power and has adjustability.

it's an interesting idea...seems that it would require a lot of fabrication though which may out-weigh it's worth but then again worth is subjective. If you get it let us know, you are a brave one and you should be applauded for most of us are either A.) too chicken **** to try something that requires more effort than an AEM SRI installation, B.) too broke to try it -or- C.) A+B. I fall under option "C" ha ha! Go for it, keep us posted. Good luck!

the universal doesnt come with much for that price. anyways, youd have to convert the tb to open to the right ( never seen a honda intake setup like that ), or tube up some crazy ish that goes from the sc outlet up towards the hood and back down to mat to the tb... just go with the hot boost like everyone said.

I want this to become a reality, because then there wont be that option of either turbo or NA(which hasn't even been proven powerful yet). With an option like a SC you gain HP all over the board with no lag and reliability. I would personally SC then turbo after all the maintenance problems people are encountering with turbos
seems like you could maybe make it work like the vortech one for the 6th gen si...but seeing as how our tb opens vertically, that could become an issue when routing the piping...maybe a top mount with scoop/custom vented hood??
just an idea...
just an idea...

You can spend $3400 or less on a turbo setup which will yield more power.

turbos are great but a SC is what you get the most out of for daily driving. unless you race your civic, and most people dont, then do what you want.
If you race a turbo is best sure, but if you want a quicker car to go from your house to the supermarket in then a SC is perfect!

i heard somebody try that but it dont work. i guess the fitting issue
but i might be wronge. i just want us 7th-gen to have choices
not just swap or turbo. it will be nice to add supercharger to that.
and that what am working on now. ill keep you 7th-gen update on
my "procharger" set up.

Does that company only use centrifugal style superchargers? What kind of gains are you expecting and what size pully are you gonna run?
