Multiple K20 Questions!! please help!

greetings: not sure if there have been other posts similar to this, my search button is temporarily a little jacked up.

anyway, i've looked into mods that provide the most bang for the buck, I have all the basic bolt-ons, cai, header, exhaust. But i found myself wondering, what is next? Pulleys? Not worth it. cam gears? 1-2 hp? forget that. Venom controlers? 299 for something that does so little? hell no. None of these other bolt-ons were ticking my pickle, so i looked into turbos / forced inductions.

Considering i have a 20 mile commute each way to work, a turbo wouldn't be as cost effective. Granted, 175-200 hp from 6-8 psi is nice, but at a cost of around 4k, and 10 mpg loss, i looked towards something else. A k20a2 engine swap.

I've looked into it a bit, and a brand new one usually costs around $5,400. I understand that used ones are available, which is definitely an option, but for now im just checking out overall price.

My Questions are as follows:

at a standard 200hp, would acceleration / top speed be equivilant to gains benefited from forced induction?

With the swap, would 0-60 times and 1/4 times reflect those of an RSX-S?

If you have a k20 swap, what are your: 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, you top speedm and your MPG?

thanks guys, i love you.

No. Much better then an RSX-S, because civics are way lighter. My civic with a k20 swap was 2450lbs with full interior, no spare, and a 1/2 tank of gas. The RSX-S is over 2800Lbs

I get about 24 mpg city, 32 mpg highway.

acceleration is the same as a turbo (because I've had both) ... but the torque is much greater with the turbo. however, the reliability is much, much greater with the engine.

you can get a used type s engine for around 3500... to get the swap in and running including labor, it'll probably be around $5500-6000.

0-60 ... I don't know? ... 1/4 mile should be around high 13's with boltons
