Car insurance increase after swap?

*and this is not insurance for the new engine

if they don't know, they can't increase your premium, right?

if ur in Cali i think theres a law that u have to report to the DMV the VIN of the engine.. then the DMV will report that to ur insurance.. after that i dunno.. just dont tell if ur not in cali

yeah dont tell em. but on the other hand if ur stuff gets jacked it would be a good idea to let them know cause u might be SOL

Yup. Don't insure it and it gets stolen or totalled, you lose 6k worth of stuff

Some insurance companies offer a special equipment policy along with your normal auto insurance policy.... look into that cause a lot of the silva-240sx guys have that to protect their cars from theft and vandalism
