Best Swap?
Best Swap?
I was wondering for you civic buff's what would be the best engine to put in a 05 Civic? I mean one that'll fit and able to put turbo and all the extra's on it. Im looking at a K20A right now. Just wanten to know if i can fit that complete engine and turbo inside of the hood with no problem. I know ill prolly have to cut the hood to make way for the water pump on the K20 (so ive been told). But if you know of a better engine to put in there please let me know. Im building it for raceing with a little gas mileage so im tryen to stay with a 4 cyl. (plus i dont think you could cram a v6 in there). But any idea's and advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way you are getting a V6 in our engine bay.
