Rep Power: 326 Yeah, but it could affect other things also. Dude, I would start from scratch if you're having that much trouble. Don't boost it or run it hard. Reset everything on the emanage as though you're running stock. Rewire everything. Odds are your wiring is off somewhere.

Rep Power: 281 bumping this thread instead of creating a new problem..
i installed the ignition harness today.. i followed andyman's DIY on the install of all harnesses. i checked over my wires at least 6 times made sure everything was connected properly.. the car will not start unless i kinda pop the clutch during start, it won't start normally at all.
i was throwing a misfire code on cyl 2 so i checked the wiring and it turned out to be ok. we swapped the sparkplug from cyl 1 to cyl 2 to see if it was fouled. we started the car again and it still through a #2 cyl code.
my a/f at idle is higher than what it used to be @ around 14.7-9 from 14.0-14.3.
-does the timing need to be pulled/advanced when the ignition harness is hooked up or is it supposed to be zeroed out?
-what could be causing the misfire code?
i've run out of daylight today so i will try to get some more work done tomorrow or i will have to go back to stock.
any help?

Rep Power: 326 Misfire is caused by:
Lack of fuel
Lack of spark
Check your #2 coil pack for voltage and check your #2 injector for voltage. Start there and see what you come up with. I would tell you what the voltage references were but I don't have my helms with me. Odds are that it isn't starting because you have no combustion in that cylinder.
