Hi to yo all,
I thought about getting e-manage with Type-S injectors to feed with fuel my turbo project. Then I found out I need a laptop to work with e-manage, I dont want to buy it.
Then I came across Greddy Profec E-01 (about $400-450 new). After basic research it looks like its a complete substitute for e-manage. Also it includes boost controller, boost gauge and large display (no laptop needed for tuning).

Q 1: Can I use just Profec e-01 with type-s injectors for turbo 6-10 psi?

Q 2: Any additional harness needed?

Q 3: Does Profec E-01 control timing and redline?

This is the non lap top version of tuning the e-manage with a built in boost controller.

It is used in conjunction with the e-manage, not a substitute.

Injector & Ignition harnesses are still need for the e-manage to control the injectors & timing.

This does nothing to redline.

take your car to be tuned they will have the support tool and they will have a lap top and they can tune your car. The lab top is needed to tune first then you can transfer it onto the e-01

Profec E-01 can only be used in conjunction with e-mange.
Not separetly, right?
No way to substitute it with e-manage?

I think you might be able to use it separate as a boost controller but im not positive.

you can use it separate as a boost controller but you want emanage to tune your car and if you want the e01 as a boost controller you might as well buy the profec type s or something else
