www.dezod.com kit has been tested on a d17 but its expensive. There is also the sf kit (out of business?), tsi kit, and maxrev kit. You're gonna be spending alot for everything. Remember there's buying the kit, install, tuning (most important), and maintenance. Don't boost too high or you'll have serious problems. No more than 8psi I would say, 4psi for an auto with tranny cooler.

yea, i have a manual, the tsi kit is a little less then $3000, how much does tuning cost? i could probably install it myself to save some money, i have alot of friends that are really good with cars that could help me, as long as i take care of the engine and change oil, what else would i have to do to keep it maintained?, i was thinkin around 6 psi

little things here and there could break. Alot of members here tho have been fine for years without major stuff going wrong. I would do research tho on what kit, because I've heard good and bad about each one. You want one that doesn't require alot of modding to make it fit. Tuning runs anywhere from $125-$250 depending on the place. Obviously its done on the dyno and they use whatever you have (prolly greddy e-manage or aem ems) to change the air/fuel ratio.

do some research b4 buying a kit/building. Once ur car is turboed u are going to run into a lot of problems. Cheap is not always good. Ask the shop what kinda parts they are using.

don't forget, turbo kits are NOT gonna pas smog in most states. Even if the emissions test passes, the turbo kit itself won't, escepially in cali.
