Fuel Management and Injector Combo question

Hey Hey, I have a question. I've checked but couldn't find anything close so I figured I'd get yalls great help. The combonations I've heard and know of are:

Emanage and New Injectors (RSX or RSX-S)
Emanage and TSI injector set-up (xtra 2 under TB)
TSI FMU and TSI Injector set-up
and some use the vafc2

But what I need to know is, is it possible to use the TSI unit with only 4 injectors? I ask because you know the extra brown wires you have to hook up to the injectors from the TSI kit, if you don't use them is it still possible to use the unit and control the fuel injection since you won't be using those wires? Thanks.

no, i would not trust that. only use it for the 2 extra injectors. You have the capability of setting up more injectors, but I would not use TSIs FMU for that. I am using it with the 2 injectors, and it works fine. I would trust hooking it up to the stock ones. may just be me though.

I have the TSI extra 2 injectors run by the eManage. Works fine. Only boosting 9-10lbs now. If I ever go over that, I doing AEM rail (when it is released) and bigger injectors.

yeah, you can do that. I know TSI's unit is universal, so it may actually be ok. I would call TSI, and ask if you can hook up 4 injectors, and if you should use an extra or different brown wire.

The way TSIs controller works is by controlling the extra injectors. So your car will still drive like stock, since you wont be altering the stock injectors. When your car hits boost is when the 2 extra injectors dump in the extra fuel.

so you will be running 6 injectors, 2 of which you control. I wouldnt hook that unit up to the stock injectors or any other injectors than the size TSI sends you. Im not sure what size they are. But TSIs unit would be set for that size injectors, nothing smaller or bigger, IMO.
