that BOV is rated at 10 psi and over.

are u boosting 10 psi daily or less?

if u are boosting less, does the valve open up without surging the turbo?

if your running less than 10 psi, you should cut a few coils off the spring.

it feels very good to be boosted. especially since i'm one of the very few autos.
I haven't cut any coils off of it because I haven't heard of anyone doing it when I was at 4 psi it let out fine and i'm running 8 psi now. but how many would you suggest to take off???

thanks a lot for the pics, but is it wrong if the bov is located next to the o2 sensor of the intake ?

I heard that bov on Joel's car at 4.5 psi and it was loud as hell.

Cutting the coils sometimes causes them to leak.

yeah I have heard of them leaking so I don't think I will cut any off thanks civic01vtech

i cut the coils on mine, then heat treated part of the spring to make it progressive rate, then added a second, smaller but stiffer spring. Mine never leaked. Not even on 18 psi. Yet it would go off at any sign of vaccum, whether you were in boost or not.
