Has anyone bought a k20a2 fro car-parts.com? I saw a few K series engine and transmission for like $2500 in my area. It's in the midwest. How come are they so much cheaper than ebay and stuff? Do you guys think it's a legit deal? Has anyone bought from them?

since its not a site selling swaps for imports primarily, they dont know the full value they can get for these motors.

true. i've bought stuff locally by finding it on car-parts and saved hundreds. when i went to the place, they had a full k20a3 swap for sale. i asked about it, they wanted $2500 for it complete. so sometimes, the opposite is true (that price is waaaaay too high)

i bought thru car-parts.com and have had no problems, they're totally legit, its just a network of car wrecker.s...

car-parts.com is only an inventory database from a collection of junkyards. So as long as the junkyard you're buying from is reputable then you're fine. But even bad business junkyards can list their inventory there.
