Lowering cost of k20a2?
i want to know how rapidly the price for the k20a2 is dropping, and if supply is catching upo with demand. also, if it would be wise to wait alittle bit if the price drops significantly to be able to actually not be broke after buying a new engine.

actually i would suspect the price to go up, bc the demand is about to be going way up with all the publicity, magazines saying k20 and k24 are the new wave of modifying
Price will be dropping soon because this engine is in-
Civic SI, RSX Base, RSX Type-S, TSX, Non-V6 Accord, CR-V, Element.
Thats a huge supply, I bet by summer they will be down a good amount.

No you are wrong. The k20a3 is in those cars, the k20a2 is in the RSX-S. 160hp vs 200hp there is a big difference. Lots of k20a3 should be available but don't expect the k20a2 to drop any time soon.

Yea but soon enough people will start making turbo a3's due to the lower compresion ratios therefore high boost. Trust me it's going to be the same thing with the B-Series. Start expecting many Frankenstien swaps soon and prices dropping.
Not any time soon. Maybe a year and a half we'll see a drop.

Yes, the price will drop. People will begin to move to the k24 and other things, so the demand will drop a little, which will then cause the prices to fall on the k20 which inturn will pull people back to the k20 engine. Thats how the engine market goes up and down. The demand is what makes the prices fall and rise.
