for the quick read, the more boost the better the car runs wtf?
Ok I have had some problems with o2 sencers that was fixed and at the same time I had a boost gauge, controller, and et gauge put on. now its not tuned so the car runs like junk top end in fact I have to be careful if I flore it by 55imph its already getting close to 1,400 (E temp). i was running the car in the dark so now im actualy seeing whats going on with the car. (ran out of cash way back when)
So I was moving the boost down but then the car ran like ****, the lower boost made the car idle bad and the E temp was still around 1,400 degrees. I put the boost up a bit, E temp lowered back to a better degree and idle got a bit better. The boost gauge stopped working so another problem that needs to be fixed, but then when it took the car up to 55mph it only was 1,300( E temp) this time not the 1,400 E temp it was before, yes i know that 1,300 is still not a great temp but it was better then the 1,400 it was.
Here is the crazy part I said f it and put about 60% of the bolt in to raise the boost up. The car is probably 30hp faster im guessing and 6-8psi but who knows it was at 4 when I started, now there is no more tranny shift lag it shifts like when I just got the car, and the ET are down about 200 throughout. The E temp was at around 1,400 now around 1,200 when driving aggressively
so wtf is going on why would cranking the boost up fix all the problems I was having???

Rep Power: 0 yes seeing as how many people where running 5psi fine without it being tuned. i was trying to get it back up to 5 psi due to it was running 3-4 before the dang boost gauge stoped working.
