stupid question

hey guys stupid question but I am curious, I own the tsi kit and i read a long while ago that the blow off valve that it comes w/ is supposed to make a pssshh sound and mine flutters, so i'm wondering if I have not set it right or what the deal is....thanks in advance and i realize its a rookie question but I dont know much bout the bov

it should flutter under low boost, but when ur pushing it it should pssshhhh hard.

If it always sputters, it will happen if the vacuum line to the BOV has a quink (sp?) in it somewhere. Make sure the line is straight all the way, and route it in a good way. Mine sputters under low boost with a pssssh. But under high boost it screams so loud, PSSSSHHHHH! haha. I love the BOV with this kit. But check that line, thats what was causing mine to do that a few days after I installed the kit.
