when starting to tune today....i had the car just idling setting up the real time display stuff to make a run....at idle the rpms read around 5000....with just a little gas it was off the chart past 8000
....i couldn't think of any reason this would happen beside the wiring...checked that and it was all good....with just idle revs it is very sporatic...but when the car is under load....it is a little more tame...but still way off...any ideas?

you need to take the brown rpm wire from the main harness and connect it to the blue rpm wire on con. D. the wire they say to connect in the DIY is the Crank Position Sensor. And make sure you calibrate you TPS.

i did calibrate the throttle on the e-manage
after messing with everything i could think of i decided to pull all the wiring out again and i did have the brown wire connected to the blue wire...however when i pulled it all out it looked as though maybe a bad connection? i don't know if that would make my rpms on the e-manage go so high...but i decided to re-solder it just to be sure
i'm hoping that's the right thing...cuz i had it all tuned and running nicely and now it runs so rough i can't even drive it without going wayyy lean or have it stalling
