check out nitrous express, edelbrock, NOS, or ZEX. They all make universal nitrous kits.

You should get anything from a 25 shot to a 75 shot, with 75 shot being more risky to your motor. You should also get a window switch.

A bottle warmer, remote bottle opener, and purge kit are all nice accesories you can get later if you want.

If you have around 500 bones to spend, go buy yourself a wet kit from a reputable seller on ebay. All the kits are basically the same. Do you want a press button to shoot the nitrous or do you want a toggle switch that activates onle when you accellerate?

imo from what people have ran (times) like thiscrackertam (14.2 or 14.3) on this site i think its worth it. Plus some kits can be used on other mtrs like the nx universal wet kit. So if you wanna swap a k20a2 later u can use the same nitrous kit on that too

you gotta be careful on the button one. You press it when you want so you gotta be at high rpms unlike my wot switch where I could be on 2k rpms and it still wont spray.

If you wire it in series with a window switch and WOT it should prevent any pooling/damage. Kinda how I'm gonna do mine if and when I do get the NX kit. I already posted my sleeper idea and a wiring diagram in another thread. Now I just need to get home, get a kit, and see if I can make it happen.

hey 02 dont get nitrous if you have a son and a wife. First, Im sure your wife wont ever let you use it with her in the car. Second, if anything ever happends and your sons inside the car, your responsible. Third, definately get the kit if the car is for your personal ride and no one else rides with you.

i would recomend a direct port kit over a wet kit.

due to the intake manifold desigin, there is a chance that fuel can puddle at the bottom of the intake manifold if you use a wet kit with a single intake pipe mounted wet fogger. when fuel puddles in the intake manifold, it makes it more prone to nitrous backfires, witch, is never a good thing. especaly when the intake manifold is made of plastic.

If you using your nitrous correctly, at the correct RPM's, You wont have to worry about puddling. All the cases ive heard of with blown-up intake manifolds it was because they were spraying under 3000 rpm.

I would never recommend a direct port unless the motor was built for nitrous. Besides who would do a direct port with anything less than a 120 shot.

yeah, ive seen direct port at the nitrous shop and god damn. He has like 6-8 nozzles for nitrous shooting in each cylinder. crazy ****. I asked how many shots he was running. If I remember correctly around 250 shot. He only uses it in the track though so thats good.

you can jet it for whatever you want. as little as a 10 shot per cylnder. just because its direct port dosent mean its race only.

and your right, people SHOULDNT spray below 3000 rpm but some people do anyway.. a direct port is just a safer way to go.
