No. We created the 1st one with it, and test it. The flex actually created some wierd reactions to engine torque. This set-up with the way we designed the shorty downpipe, it acutally allows some small degree of pivot, which worked out perfect.

I had a lot stress on the intake when the engine moved and poped the head studs that hold the intake and also had exhaust rattle all thru the back of the car so I had to intall a flex pipe and ARP studs for the mani.
May be because I have a manual trai, so it put more stress on it when shifting?

I can't tell what change it did made to engine torque cause I installed the fuel return system at the same time and my numbers went up anyway.

Just a thought

Toaster is on a distinguished road
Still not clear on one point. If I have an EX and want the turbo kit must I buy this piece? Even if I have the Random Technology high flow cat? Or is this just for those with DX/LX who want to have a cat and EX whom do not already have a high flow cat?

This will be required for an EX owner & our kit will not work with the RT piece.
