Turbo........ Completed!
Well after about a year and a half of waiting and alot of paychecks I have my turbo finished and installed. I cranked it up last night and no problems. No CEL's or probs. Im taking it to get tuned tommorow morning so i'll post dyno numbers and results after. I just hope there is no complications when it comes to the tunning.

BTW did you do it yourself????
yeah I did it myself. It was a PIA seeing as it was my first turbo install. But after 3 days and alot of cursing and having to cut a few wrenches to get into tight spots. it was all good. I havent driven it yet though. still need to wire up the last 4 wires of the ignition harness on the emenage and hope I can limp it over to the shop without it blowing up on me.

Congrats. I agree with Viper, haha. Thats pimp though. I should be recieving my kit in about 1 or 2 days. By thursday at the latest I would think. Than I get to start throwing stuff on.
How much are you being charged for tuning?
I was quoted 150-200 for a complete tune. not by the hour. But they have good experience with the TSI ICU, so thats tight.

Nice. I cant wait to do everything you are. Must be niiiiiice. Hopefully Ill get my IC and some piping on today. I really hope I can start on this.
I am stuck between a new clutch and tuning first. Im thinking tuning, but my clutch will be going out soon. its got 90,000 on it. burns occasionally. With high reving
I may just run a tad rich for now from the settings specified for my vehicle. just so I definately wont be running lean.
Post some pics and vids if you got a video camera. Im gonna post some pics when I get mine done. They better call me when they get to my car. not when its ready.

Yeah I am on 89,000 miles too. My clutch has been threw alot of racing and 1 1/2 of nitrous. But when I swapped the tranny at 65000 the clutch looked fine. I know my clutch isn't super strong but I would much rather have my car dyno tuned and not blow the motor then just have to replace a clutch.
