your right, TSI extreme. Everything looks better when unwrapped. I just have the wrapping on it. There are a lot more pieced below it as well. It seems to be pretty quality stuff. Just need to see how it fits. I will be upgrading piece by piece, and eventually I will have basically all this off my car. This is good for now though. I am extremely happy, and its gonna work good with little mod (I hope, doesnt sound like it). I have 3 days set aside next weeked. Friday night I will install the manifold, turbo, some piping and fuel system. The next day I will finish up when I can use my neighbors welding stuff. Ill let ya know if it works or not and how much modding. I will do a step by step DIY with pics hopefully. I am planning on it. So people will install it as fast as possible without all the issues everybody is having. I have learned what basically needs to be done to make it fit perfect,a nd it isnt going to be that much, they fixed half of it that I do know of, but said all fitment issues are fixed.

yeah, its needed. I have the pipes all pieced together, Im prelearning how to get everything done, so it should just go right on?? Ill take a pic of the pipes IC and BOV hooked up and where the lines on the turbo go and the simple stuff so far. The directions say use silicone if you want to seal the hole where you drill in the oil pan. Yeah right, silicone, they are freakin crazy. I wouldnt trust that for a day. Welding and nothing less.

yeah, it would be nice to see some numbers. I bet he does it though. I will in about a month Ill post the graphs, and try to find a video camera from somebody that will work for putting the sh** on the computer. If not, pics in the least. Ill show what the TSI kit can do. We need a thread with all the different numbers and pounds of boost for different kits. So people will ask less of what kit to get.

I dont know what the original directions looked like. It doesnt seem toooooo bad. Just a little confusing on how to set it. I just need to go over it a little more til it makes sense. My neighbor can probably tune it pretty well though, he tunes his transam or firebird. (He calls it a Formula, is that a good model or something?) I know its a f**kin beast though, nobody can F with him, hehe. its supercharged as well.
I am thinking of getting a turbo or an EVO MR when I get abck from Iraq. Depends on how much money I have to spend. I just had a baby boy Jan 11 so now I have different priorities

sorry for taking so long guys. I was driving around. lol. There were some things that went wrong and had to be tightened and swapped while on the dyno.so it took 2 days to tune. I hate to tell you guys but the owner of sfp came in on his day off and stayed late so we were both hurrying to finish. I left before I could get my final numbers. last time I checked in with him he said 190Hp and178 tq @8psi. He said that when I install my alchy injection that he could get me to 215 @8psi. so im going to install it next week! Pics will be up tonight.

tuning my friend........these d17's are underestimated
^^^ word. all stock internals. I could have pulled better numbers but my exhaust had a leak at the end that was throwing off the wideband reading. I can still lean it out a bit to get to 200. right now my A/F is 11:1. Like opto and dezod said, the missing link and emenage don't play nice when tunning. It was fine when tunning WOT but it limited the voltage when trying to tune partial throttle. once we removed it everythng was fine. But one other funny thing was that when we pulled the timing some (-3deg) the car fell flat on it's face and lost 25whp. it started to ping a little when it heated up on back to back runs.(But this was also in a bay with no air flowing to the IC.). anyone else have this prob?

- My thoughts exactly...
