You might have fried your piston rings, I'd get a comp. test to check em out. Also check your plugs, could have fried those as well. If it is still smoking when you drive you could have blown a hg too....good luck to you
um, you wont fry your engine by revving the engine with the wot switch on. I usualy turn it on too and gas it to see if its working. SOme sprays but nothing. You can smell the sweetness ofthe n02 but no smoke should be coming out unless you nitrous is leaking.

then why would smoke come out? were you revving for 9123098121089 mins or something? I rev my car with wot switch on slightly tapping on the gas enough to ear the solenoids open. Is that what you did or did you have it on longer? cuz if you did, then you mightve done something. Nitrous is not for you man. Never make a mistake leaving a switch on thinking you have it off, thats just plain dangerous...
I know Its a Big NO NO .....but it happened thats why I wanted to know if this happened to somebody before, the thing is that I was making the line again to race after a raced so, thats why I forgot because of the adrenaline, I was excited so its all good......I hope I didn't make a big damage cuz I need it to last while I get all the money for the k swap! thanks for the coments......
What plugs are you runnin? Did you ever check them after the incident? If so, what did they look like at the time? If not, you should always check your plugs. Keep an eye on your coolant resevoir. If it starts to rise and overflow after some time, you probably blew your head gasket. If you didnt blow the headgasket, you're lucky, but I'm still betting some damage occurred inside the engine from that. You need to be more careful. "Its not a toy!" As they say...

the proper way to do it, is by putting the engine in on mode (dont turn on the car make sure bottle valve is off and no nitrous is in the lines.make sure wot switch is on and click the microswitch, but Im scared and lazy to do it that way. nitrous freagging burns your skin.
I always kept the bottle open because then you can hear the nitrous and fuel flowing hard through the nozzle. That way theres no doubt that its working. As far as nitrous freezing my skin goes, that was never a concern of mine because testing the solenoids doesnt requires dismounting the intake charge pipe and/or nozzle from the throttle body, etc. Aside from that possible secenario, what other way is there to come into contact with the nitrous?
no one said anything about dismounting anything.
there could be possible leaking lines that can squirt out nitrous... thats why you should have the bottle off when you do that. Theres so many ways you can get into contact with nitrous. Nitrous is not a joke and it is scary if you think about it. Even with a person that knows just about everything with nitrous still something could go wrong. I never actually came in contact with nitrous, but hopefully it will still be that way.

Which of the possible nitrous lines could be leaking enough nitrous to create a potentially dangerous situation with nitrous that could harm you? Even if there was a leaking line, you would know it before you even had the chance to come close to being in contact with it and being burned as a result. Nitrous is as safe as anything else, you just need to take the right precautions and not do anything stupid which only requires a little common sense. If you do not do either of the two correctly, you should find a more simple hobby like flying kites or putting legos together.
