i can get an si motor, with tranny for 1600. its an 04 with low low miles on it. What else would i need for this thing to put in a 01 lx. And is that a good price? i can go pick it up this week.. thanks!

man thats pretty cheap. but im guessing taht your need the new mounts, subframe, the wiring if it dosen't have it, and the ecu. and im not sure but on the engine swaps ive helped with we needed new axels. like with the b-series swaps.

b-series? I want to do that but too bad its illegal.. well, I have a 02 so it'd be illegal for me.. but I've heard you can do a b18 swap into an 01 civic because of the integra

no not do a b-series swap i mean when ever ive done a swap like the b-series into an older civic, not mine. I had to change the axels. but ive also heard that the b18 is a legal swap in an 01.
