How easy is it to blow HG when runnin turbo

I was just wondering how easy is it blowing HG when u have a turbo. People talk like it happens so often and easily... is this true. what would be the minimum requirements to run a turbo without runnin into that problem. I just wanna run like 6 or 7psi. would I be ok?

Proper tuning is key.

The headgasket will be fine for 6-7psi, as long as you make sure it is tuned.

what exactly would be "proper tuning"?? i mean i've read a lot of the turbo posts and all that other stuff, but for some reason all of it just doesn't register in my head. would proper tuning include gettin a boost controller, or emanage and **** like that?

Some type of FMU, or something to control the fuel. An A/F guage works wonders, crappy on a stock narrowband, but proper tuning is easy on a wideband.
