Rep Power: 0 Exhaust Leak!!! Please Help!
ok, so i've been having this problem since i got the turbo on. the friggin turbo downpipe doesn't seal to the pipe that connects with the CAT (i have the megan racing resonator cat)...
there's about half an inch gap, the exhaust seal ain't cuttin it, I doubled it and still leaking worse than one... so I kinda thought of using a HIGH HEAT SILICONE HOSE TO USE AS MY SEAL, it worked for about a month untill last week at the illegals where it started leaking again...
i was thinking about taking my turbo out and weld my turbo downpipe to the cat, but the problem is how to put it back on... is there any other friggin way to do it?
is it just me or is there any other SF Kit owner out there that has the same problem? and how did you connect your exhaust that seals perfectly??? I appreciate any help! thanks!

Rep Power: 0 ummmm..... exhaust leaks don't cause probs on turbo'd cars... it's like having an e-cutout just getting the exhaust pressure out fasting... it's prob even helping you spool faster than hurting you

Rep Power: 0 lol... exactly... so i don't know why these tools are worried about their PERFORMANCE from an exhaust leak... if anything it's only helping them as i stated in my previous post... oh well, i can see why they wanna fix it, just so it's correct how it's supposed to be, but for the time being it's not hurting performance

Rep Power: 0 to most enthusiasts running open DP and open Dump is the best way to go, who cares about how loud it is, unless your afraid of the cops, and in that case, don't mod you car to go fast, waste of your time
