pressure problem?

i have the upgraded sf turbo on an auto civic. from every thing that i have seen/read fwd should be best at a roll but with my civic i cant seem to build boost past 25 mph.

if i floor it from a stop (example going onto a expressway) i have full power all the way untill i get to 70 (when i take my foot off due to im at my crusing speed).

i know a bigger turbo takes longer to spool but i should have some hp from a roll right?

Maby You have a vaccum leak somewhere? Or a broken wastegate?

How is your idle? Smooth, rough? If you have a vaccum leak, your idle will be killer. Check all your couplings. You may not have a vac leak, but a boost leak. I was entering the highway one night WOT at full boost then KUNK!...0psi....not boost...nor could i build any. I pulled over in a gas station and checked the probem. The pressure had blown the downdraft coupling off of my throttle body. All i had to do was re-attach it and tighen the clamp firmer. Maybe you just have a mild boost leak somewhere from the compressor->intercooler->throttle body.

Double check your vaccum connection from the compressor to the wastegate. Internal, right? I strongly doubt its a broken wastegate though. Mostly when a wastegate goes, you'll build insane amounts of boost because the gate isn't opening.

That sound like a boost leak. vaccum leaks ur rpm would be jumping up and down like crazy. If you have a boost & vac gauage. On idle the vac should read @ 20.

do ya have a boost gauge? If you do, check to see if you're building boost. If not, then it's def. a boost leak. If you're building peak boost, then you might be running extremely lean. My ICU re-setted for no friggin reason last night and went down to my extra injectors only spraying 0.4Ms in every boost setting, when they were normally running 9+Ms @ 1psi, 10+Ms @ 2psi, 12+Ms @ 3psi, etc, and up. It ran so lean the car ran worse at 6psi then it did at 2psi. Do you have an a/f ratio? If not, best to get one, as CrewChief so bluntly put it, "Don't go pissing in the dark!"
