D16 turbo kit fits D17?

Theres a few auctions for full turbo kits for the D16 motor but on the same page it also mentions it can fit any D series motor. i dunno if this makes sense but what is the major difference between the D16 kit and D17 kit? would it be just one part that one fit on both motors or would the whole kit ONLY fit the D16. please help!

you can make anything fit wiht enough money, my guess is you would need a new turbo manifold and get come custom pipes made.

If you replace the manifold and all the charge piping, ecu etc, it will work.

You are better off just buying a turbo.

in other words.........won't fit. Manifold is different, pipes won't fit. It would cost you alot to get a new manifold and new pipes. At least $1,000. Not worth buying a whole kit. In other words.........totally different.
