Rep Power: 0 TSI Different Fuel Options
So im looking at the TSI kit and it has 2 fuel options.
Fuel System Option 1:
- 2 Injectors & Interface Block
- TSI Injection Control Unit w/ Turbo Timer
- Injector Control System Settings
Fuel System Option 2:
- APEXi V-AFC II
- APEXi Turbo Timer
- Boost Gauge
MOST of the people ive talked to have the Option 1. BAIRLY anyone has option 2. It would seem reasonable to get option 1 because it takes care of the extra fuel being injected into the engine, BUT ive also heard that with the VAFC, it allows u to mess with the AIR/FUEL ratio and over all that is alot more better and efficent then the extra injectors. What is ur opinions on this? Basicly the only difference between the 2 is one gives extra fuel with 2 extra injectors, and one gives u a computer so u can mess with ur air/fuel.
Without the extra injectors, there isnt going to be alot of fuel running to the engine, would that be fine running 8-10 psi if i have the vafc?
Which one is better?
Which one do u prefer?
Which one is better off in the long run.
FOR SUM REASON, i feel this is a "repost" but ive searched and cant find ne thing so if it is...

Rep Power: 274 just remeber that trying to push more fuel out of your stock injectors will have them go out over time. another thing is with option one the injection unit can hunction to 16psi. and supply enough fuel to get you there. I want to see your stock injectors do that with a vafc. I say option 1 but thats my .02. I have it and I love it.

Rep Power: 261 you can mess with the a/f ratio with option 2 as well. Programing the injectors to run more fuel richens the a/f and cutting back fuel on the injector block leans out the a/f.
