fine, honestly, i dont think you have the slightest clue. youre callin me a damn noob? take a look at my join date clown. i've been here since this site was started. I said this wasn't a noob thing because i have done my research. none of you have addressed the fact of the altitude i live at and i dont think a single one of you has a damn clue. How could my car be running rich if i havent sprayed on it??? i purposefully didn't spray just to see how the plugs would do but obviously you people know everything so whatever.
Well einstein, then if you're at a high altitude then naturally you may be running a little more rich than the rest of us. You're definitely going to have carbon deposits on your spark plug regardless of how fuel efficient these cars are supposed to be. As long as the electrode, the ceramic, the tip are not fouled and they are showing the right color its burning correctly. If you had any brains you woud be figuring this out already. Honestly, I think the altitude you're at is actually on cloud 9.

wow there pal, i actually got some constructive feedback from you. thats frickin amazing. see, if you had shared this knowledge earlier we wouldn't have had such a long thread. kinda like the guy who first said not to worry about it. Instead, you wanted to tell me what plugs to use, etc, etc, etc. maybe you should learn to be more positive from now on.
Fair enough however, in regard to the choice of spark plugs, maybe you should listen and take in what people say first before opening your mouth trying to discredit the information that was put toward the thread that you created to begin with. Every single well experienced person that I have ever talked to about nitrous has always recommended the same NGK's without me even mentioning them. As you can see, there is already one other person in this thread who has already posted who agrees with me on which plugs to run. This was not orchestrated. Oh and btw, I dont care if you joined this forum in 1952, you're still makin yourself look like an ***.

well, thats cool, i wish i could remember the threads but it seemed like there was only one person (maybe two) that had probs with the zex and one guy who recommended. at the same time there were a few that had the 2 steps colder ngk v racing plugs that recommended and one that had problems sooooo.... anyway, i knew not to get bosch or any platinums but there was very little about the zex. the ngks were also cheap and proven.

but hey, at least im rollin with the ngks now and dont seem to have any problems. especially since the fouling seems to be normal. but back to the old question, would it be wise to trade these out for only one step colder as previously mentioned (you seem like you would know)

I tried to help, and I told you you were running rich...dont be a damn assbag. I swear...if you did your research you'd know why you were running rich....I asked if you used engine management and you ignored that question. so before you point fingers look in the mirror smackass.

whoa hold on a second assclown, the problems already been solved. I think its pretty obvious im not running emanage but whateva. I guess u just felt left out earlier huh, mother not give u enough attention or something?
I've heard from a reliable source that the 6s are ok to use with the 75 shot, but I cant personally vouch for them because I've never tried them with the nitrous. If you wanted to try them allmotor and then do one pass with the spray I think you would probably be ok, but I would make sure you check the plugs immediately after using the spray and not hours or days later. Take into consideration your bottle pressure too when checking out your plugs. Obviously with a wet kit, the higher the bottle pressure, the leaner the a/f is going to be. (if you dont have a fuel computer/management)

that sounds like a plan, ill probably go and order some (edit: 7 not 6) plugs today and hopefully they will be slightly better. if not, I can just change them out. should I use the regular ngks (which do go one step colder) or the v-racing? or does it even matter?

lemme be more specific, ngk have regular v-power (stock heat is ZFR6F-11) which i could also go one step colder and get ZFR7F-11. They also have v-racing (stock heat would be R5671A-6 if they made them) which i currently have R5671A-8 (two steps) but could go to R5671A-7 (one step). is there any advantage to the v-racing to the v-power?

R5671A-6 and -7's... I believe those are the ones actually recommended by NX. I've never tried them because they havent been easy for me to find at the local auto parts stores and plus the BKR7E's work great and they run fine all motor.(for me anyway) As you said yourself, our are cars come stock with 6s so I'm not entirely convinced that they are the best to use with nitrous, but I've heard they're ok so just try them out and see if you want. Where did you find yours anyway? As far as v-racing and v-power go, I dont know of any difference there in performance. To be honest, I prefer to use the BKR7Es because I'm the type of person that always says "if its not broke then dont fix it" therefore I havent been that interested in trying a 1 step hotter plug or any other plug for that matter.

well, I called nx and they gave me a number for ngk. I called and told them the situation. they recommended the 1-step v-power (non racing). they said this was best for our engine because the racing are resistorless (apparently bad for electronics). and 2 steps was also too much for the shot and altitude
Also another thing, NX didnt like it when I mentioned the BKR7E's which made me skeptical of their tech support and you know what....there are a lot of people who use them and stand by them because they indeed do work. In your case, the 6's probably are a better choice because of your elevation. Just keep monitoring your plugs over and over, you'll find out for yourself which works best.

yeah i noticed nx wasn't all that great, but they just passed me off anyway. NGK had awesome support though and when it comes to plugs they probably know best. and to johnnyslil01ex if you came in late, maybe you should have just READ the rest to get updated. Like i said, you obviously just wanted to get all pouty pants about it being as your all big and bad standing behind your computer screen.
