hey i just put on my hks electronic boost controller, its all good up to about 8 psi, but if i set it anywhere about that the boost climbs real fast and spikes its *** off and the car runs like ****. i was wondering if anyone knew whats up with this?

I am not too familiar with the inter-working of that particular unit, be see if there is a gain of some sorts on it. The gain usually controls the sensitivty of the valve, which is causing the spike.

i think the gain your talking about is called the "offset" on this model, i tried messing around with it, i got the spike to dissapear, but i cant get my boost to climb to the set limit now, i got it set at about 9.5, it only will climb to about 8. but thanks for the help!
