An STi & a Civic can not even compare to one another. An economy car (Civic) vs an affordable import performance sedan (STi). 2 vastly different target markets, prices and all. I do not see how people constantly get off doing that.

who the hell was comparing either or i was talking about car companies and refering to my preference to them in regards to their reliability. the sti is a piece of crap i have 3 friends who have it and i wouldnt buy that hunk of **** over a mini.

Anyways if WE ARE looking at that sti catagory of cars, id rather take en evo VIII dump in 10 grand like stephen papadakis had just recently done and run high 10's

Really? HAHA. You must know alot about them huh? Your correct to a point. The 04 Sti is a piece of crap. The 2005 Sti has been totally reworked and is very reliable and can handle 25 lbs of boost, tranny supports 600 ft lbs of torque without hesitation and up to 1000 on occasion.Take my word for it I have driven an 05, my friend owns one. An Sti is a different classed car. But you don't understand what I was trying to say. You take your NA Civic eco box.......put 4 grand into it and have fun but not really gonna last. Now your up to a vehicle that is 17,000(car) plus 4,000 (turbo)= 21,000. Ok. Here is where we need to think. Sell the civic.....trade in...whatever.....finance/buy an STi....32,000 from the factory and 20-22,000 with money down or trade in....and have almost same payments....approx $400. That's if you can swing it. Then you take $1,800 and invest in some mods and have a very powerful and RELIABLE car that was meant for Boost. Do you see what I am getting at?I pay 300 a month for my civic. Why not pay 400 for an Sti?
I am all for people boosting their civic's and I think Dezod has done well but...I have realized that spending all that money on my civic really wasn't worth it. I could have put that money into a car (STi) and had more power and fun. This is me...and I kick my own *** for it now. Happy spending!

For those of us who are waiting till they got the money next Nov. (me..i guess) we have to pay the 3.5k stead of the 3.2k??? ::Cries:: Its just not fair...that money could be used for a shortshifter, or the E-manage upgrade...
