SAFC2 and nitrous?
i've always been a lil curious on this. i've got i/h/e/pullies/ (I know not that great but oh well)/crower cam regrind (soon to be replaced by actual crower cam when they are released). i'm using a 75 shot now and i've always been curious is it ok to run the nitrous with the safc tuned or should i just say fu<k it and not get the safc?

i've never gotten a chane to take my car to the track yet..i'm kinda waitin to get some more goodies..but there was a very good difference with and with out the nitrous. with the nitrous you feel it pull harder and faster than it did before with out the cam. it's not in my head either cause my friend who usually rides with was surprised at the difference cause honestly we thought it was gonna be one of those things that are like the power is there but you don't feel it kinda things. i think with a pnp head it would be even better but that's a little pricey for me. with it all the car really comes alive..it's not like it's unbeatable or nothin but it makes these cars better competitors for the cars that would usually dust our ***.

actually i was thinkin of the same thing. from what i've been told our block is strong enough as long as we get forged pistons and rods that can handle it so i think you'll be in good shape. let me know how it goes cause i've been lookin forward to crower's release so i can do that and get the actual cam instead of this regrind.
I was thinking today... if I wanted to tune my car on my local shops dyno with nitrous to optimize the A/F ratio to make more power, what would i need to have so they could tune my car???

all you need is a safc or vafc. i just got my car dynotuned with my nitrous setup. i am using a vafc w/o the vtec controller hooked up. and i have the nos wet kit with a 60 shot. i have 196 to the wheels. i also have the basic stage 3 head work done and some higher compression pistons. i was very pleased when i saw my little single cam run 136 to the wheels not spraying. lmk what you think about this setup. it is a little pricy.
oh and your stock fuel setup is fine for runnig nitrous. the hp jetting is what controls the amount of fuel let in by the fuel solinoid. any other quetions you might have about this particular situation give me a call 813-323-0666. i will be happy to help. also stay tuned my civic will be boosted in less than a month and i haven't spent more than 850 so far.
What was all done with stage 3 head work? Also, I thought you dont' want higher compression pistons on nitrous cuz of detonation or problems like that? Post that dyno, I want to see the torque and hp curves
