Rep Power: 0 The only thing that needs modification when installing this kit is the manifold needs to be shaved a little bit on the right side, and then you need to cut a little bit of plastic in the front right fenderwell for the intercooler piping to come thorugh.
Once I figured out how this kit was supposed to be installed, my mechanic and I felt very dumb... The fitment isn't much of an issue when you find out the right way.
BTW... the instructions are a JOKE
My TSI Extreme kit is for sale... pm me if you are interested.

Rep Power: 0 I am selling the car, and I have been told I will make a lot more money out of the deal if I part my car out. Ive got roughly 32,000 + into the car... so I can see where they are coming from..
And yes the TSI kit is awesome. I hadn't had any experience with turbo prior to this kit, but I know that once this kit is tuned and you get all the settings in, it really flies!

Rep Power: 0 How long do you think it will take me to sell my 2002 civic ex in perfect condition (stock) with 18,180 miles on it in the 10...12 thousand dollar range?
I just hope I am not going from the flame into the fire by taking apart my car. I dont want to take all the parts off my car, sell them and then have a 4-door civic stock that I cannot sell.... you know?

Rep Power: 0 You can always sell the parts, and trade the car in. You have low mileage, you should get a good amount. Selling privately should go pretty quickas well. Maybe for 11 or 12 I would say.
Its nice to know there arent that many probs. If anybody wants to take some pics of their TSI kit, and the piping for how it allgoes that would be sweet. I am getting my kit in the mail TODAY! Went out at 3 am for delivery, so it better be here today, or Imgonna start a scene at UPS. hehe

Rep Power: 0 congrats. Youre gonna be in love w/it. You should upgrade to something other than the SAFC though, it wont work to well, but will work. Get the eManage, or TSIs unit woulda been a little better.

ok, well i went up to pruven, got there at 10am they took my car in to do some test on the e-manage(car was on) the guy goes into the glove box to hook up the connection and my car shuts off. blew a fuse. so he gets the car back up and running, tells me im missfiring in all 4 clyenders. there are wires exposed and could cause a fire. this is all b/c turbotrix hook out my a-afc and just cut the wires. so im driving a fire hazerd.
so ill be going back up to this tursday to drop my car off for a few days to get this thing running like a turbo'd car should be. e-manage is getting reinstalled with all harnesses and senor. air/fuel and boost gauge fixed. fixing my wiring mess. taking out the injector block and custom fab a pipe. custom fab a oil feed line.tune and dyno and whatever else that need to be done.
est. 800 bucks.
