need help with a turbo upgrade
I need to find a ball bearing T28 turbo to upgrade a used TSI T25 kit i may be getting. I'm a boost n00b. I want to easily just bolt on a T28. Any help would be wonderful!

another thing that has me stumbling is the inductor side of most of these T28 and GT28's i'm finding. They look different! Here's a pic of the inductor side of a Garrett T25 that comes with the TSI kit:

Then here's a Garret GT28 inductor side:

It's different!

Here's a "hi fi" Garrett T28 (makes 25% more power than the standard T28)
i think this one would work:

Any garrett with a T25 flange will bolt onto the manifold.
The GT28RS is available with different compressor housings, for instance:

This is one from the cheapturbo.com store.
I would recommend this one, with a bit smaller turbine A/R.
You can buy adapters that bolt to the turbo to convert it to the normal pipe and silicone hose.

if you opt against the t28 route, you could always use a DSM 16g, they still spool quick and create great boost, you can ussually find them on dsmtrader.com, just a thought

Garrett GT28 (Ball Bearing)
www.hpautoworks.com/garrettgt28.html
i don't understand how to read the a/r stuff, so yeah, would this spool around 3k?

/\/\Yeah, i might even upgrade to that further down the road. Rev hard T3 manifold, T3 or GT30. I plan on keeping the civic for a very very long time.
So you got 233whp and 214lb ft @12psi on a T28bb?
