Turbo or no turbo

Do you think its worth it to toss a turbo kit into the D17? Does it take alot of money to get everything working correctly? or am i better off swaping to a B18C1 if thats possible into an 01 civic.... and then throwin a turbo in that?

a turbo is worth it........but it will cost you more than you think.

I have only seen 1 7thgen with a B series swap. Plus it is illegal.

Honestly, if i had to do it all over again, i would buy a faster car.

Dude do some research before you start throwing out engine numbers. If your going to do a swap go with the k20. Plan on spending at least 5000-10000.

Will i have to change out the spindles and stuff due to the fact that some of the stock parts wont beable to handle the torque the k20 puts out?

sevenplaces is on a distinguished road
15000 for a civic
6-8000 for a k20 swap
=23000

thats how much an RSX-S costs!!!!!!!

waste of $$ IMHO

plus if its a substantial weight difference in the engine youll need to do somethin bout ur suspension
go k20-turboed..( then you can buy connecting rods n things to turn up the boost past 7-8 psi without bending cracking or breaking things)

Buy a Skyline they come with boost. Yeah it is only a T25 turbo but it can be easily upgraded to a beast.
