Ok guys - this thread is not meant to disrespect ANYONE on the board about parts - but this is truly a waste of money if you are using the emanage.
I just installed one tonight to see if it improve my drivability at all...well, was I mistaken. Car started, idled and ran fine. Than I slowly went into into boost, which is where my problems came into play.
I started to see extremely lean values in my wideband, so I backed off. At first I thought it would be a leak at the MAP sensor, no it wasn't that.
After datalogging the MAP sensor through the emanage - I saw that the missing link locked out the map voltage round 2.08 volts. This is far below my 2.95 boost cut setting in my emanage.....THAT is where my lean spot came from. That approximately .9 volts is huge! I can't believe the damn thing clamps voltage that low.....
The ECU still has fueling capacity on the stock maps all the way to 0 vac. I'm taking this POS of tomorrow....
Don't run this if you are using the emanage - if you do, you will have to tune your car a lot more than necessary.....

Car ran fine with the clamp in place, don't plan on using it...

Ok - I am officially a dumbass tonight.
I opened my log files again after thinking about things. The reason that the MAP sensor voltage was .9 volts low is because of the fuel injector correction factor.
Yeah - so the missing link IS doing its job, because the MAP sensor input voltage was around 2.91 volts. But my injector correction is clamping it to .667 times that, which was outputing around 2.08v.
What happens when the missing link isn't installed? The factory MAP passes 2.95 volts, but the emanage clamps it to 2.95...
The only way to use the missing link and emanage with the injector correction factor is to "pad" the MAP signal around boost. Since you can only tune the AR map RPM against TP, there is no real way to accurately fatten up the MAP signal when boost kicks in.
The missing link works - but the boost clamp is an overall better way to tune the turbo setup.....

It depends on your setup...if you are using the emanage - you don't really need it, unless you want to waste your time tuning longer...

OK, so if that is the case - I have E-manage, and Missing Link (Not installed Yet).

Yeah - I put mine for sale as well. I don't need it, plus now I need the money because I have other issues.
SAFC / VAFC guys can still use it, and they need it.....
