Installed Greddy Turbo Timer, all good except ..... ??

Hi Guys, as the first step towards boosting my car. I got the Greddy Turbo Timer installed today. Hooked up all the wires with the optional hand brake and speed sensor features as well. Everything works great but the speed sensor function

Did anyone of you got this feature working properly? I hooked up the speed sensor (purple) wire to the white/green wire in the top connector of the ECU behind the glove box. At first, the speed that it was showing was crazy. It read like 250 when I was at 30. Then I went through the manual and got the settings reset. After that the readings became a bit better but still not good. I have spent my last 5 hours trying to get this thing to work properly but no luck so far.

Any help out there?

I thought you were referring to the Greddy twin turbo kit (which isn't for our cars anyway)

Is it possible that my civic (being a different version) has different wiring for the ECU? Or is the wiring universal?
