251 on a stang dyno is really good. That is the most true figures for dyno because it takes into account tires, wheel size & fricition coefficient.....Keep it streetable. I am sure that is entirely useable HP & TQ which is essntial. Who cares about a measly spike in HP or TQ......All about useable, strong & on going HP & TQ curves.

UPDATE ON THE CAR.....
I decided to take my car out for some "shake down" passes tonight. The announcer at the track calls my car out and tells me a corvette z06 wants to run me.
We finally get lined up. Both of us do our burnouts. I let him stage first and make him wait for me. I'm trying to get him to lose his concentration at the line. i finally stage, as the lights go down, rev it up to 5k rpms, then bam... I'm off turbo fully spooled and suprisingly have traction. Looking at the corner of my eye I've got a one car lead. I'm holding him off till 4th gear@ 7600 rpms. My car backfires and ends up bogging. I quickly shift it to 5th and try to hold the corvette off as we pass the finish line. It was to close to tell if I won or not. As I get to the person who holds the timeslip I see she hands me the white time slip (winner get white time slip). It was then I realized that I just barely won. Considering the back fire and having to basically roll to the end of the track. I was ecstatic. Its times like this, that I know i did the right thing by going turbo.
CLIFF NOTES: TURBO CIVIC BEATS CORVETTE Z06
Heres the timeslip. I'm the silver car. Notice the 1/8 mile. 7.9. Which means if my car didn't bog, it would have been good for high 11's.
I've got time slips in the track section. Best runs was a 12.2, no traction.

If a boosted civic beat a Z06, that doesn't say much for the driver of the Z06. Not to sound anti-vic or anything, but that just sounds like a skill mismatch above anything else.

Ice, when does that sc61 spool on your car??? I'm still having a hard time deciding on a turbo (even though i have no money since i sleeved my block, grrr) and would really like to know that bit of information. Thanks

It starts spooling around 3500 rpms. It makes power all the way up to 7900 rpms.I went with the sc61 since it was the cheapest. What other turbos are you considereing?gt35e/gt35r? The gt35e is basically the same as my sc61 except it has gt wheels on the compressor and turbine side. The gt35r is the ballbearing. If money is not an option, I 'd get this turbo.Spools really quick and really efficient. Do a search on honda-tech. Theres a few dyno sheets on the gt35r. Since you're getting your block sleeved what are your horsepower goals? Are you going to be auto crossing or drag-racing?
I'm looking ~450 wheel. It's going to be used to autox, drag, and some track days but mostly the other two. Been looking at the gt35r, but it's spendy, and supposedly going to be hard to get for a while (heard this three times now). I've also been looking at a gt32 as an alternative. There are dyno sheets to give me an idea of how this turbo will act, but non on a K series. Looked at quite a few 2.0L B series though.

GT32 sounds good to me. Have you seen boosted-hybrids thread on his turbo hatchon honda-tech?.I think its called "whos says turbo cars cant autocross?"He was using a gt28 I believe. Excellent throttle response from the turbo. Good luck on the project.
