yeah, i just dump it right in. It is a mix of methanol and T-Butyl Alcohol.
I get it at pep boys, it cost $5 a quart......this is really expensive, but i don't have time to go somewhere and by it by the gallon.
**** dude, you're getting new rods, too, right? If not, please, make sure you keep the boost down and tune your timing. If you need some more help with your setup, hit me up, I'd much rather see you make power reliably than continue to have problems over something you could've avoided, again. Wish you could've waited for cp's but I doubt you'll make enough power for it to really matter in the long run. Hit me up, though, for sure.
^ I didn't have the cash for new rods. I don't plan on boosting enough for it to really matter. I just figured I'd be better off with forged pistons and new rings under normal boost....they've gotta be better than stock, right? The compression is lower now. I found a dyno tune near me so I'm going to order the emanage with timing controls. Hopefully they'll be able to tune the car to optimum performance. 200 to the wheels is what im aiming for, with Sunoco 94, fuel octane booster, and that methanol solution that civic01vtec suggested.

ok im gonna explain why they heat the rods. The heating of the rod is to install the piston pin. you NEVER press one in with a shop press. You will distort the piston, gall the surface of the pin and plain screw stuff up. You use a torch to heat the end of the connecting rod, which expands it and allows you to slip the pin in with very little effort.
