i was wondering if you are supposed to buy wheels made for an RSX if you have the RSX or DC5 Type-R suspension in the 7th gen civic. Do the wheels fit or is there an offset problem? I am interested in this swap for the future and want to make sure i do everything right. Also, is anybody here from PA who knows any good shops who could do this swap? Thanks

depends on what axles you use. it's 5 lug if you use dc5 usdm or jdm, the type s wheels do stick out a little more than stock civic ones, but if you are using a sotck suspension you won't have rubbing issues. dc5r wheels have a significantly larger offset to accommodate the brakes on the type r. so that might look a little weird.

Why would that look weird? I wish I had a higher offset wheel so they wouldn't be sticking out so far in the front. I have a 40 offset right now, and wish I would have bought atleast a 48.
