I heard of some company that can convert these autometer a/f gauges to show wideband or something. Ever seen them?
So basically I need to fork over another $329 for a wideband, or just use the one at the dyno place. Do you need wideband for driving, datalogging tuning as well?

Looking VERY nice Opto..... If possible do you have any pics from the underside of the turbo, and or the driverside view of the pipe thru the WW fluid bottle hole?

you don't need a wideband for driving.....just as long as you have a a/f gauge to use to see if by chance u are running lean.

Ok - one question I have. Has anyone installed a donut gasket between their stafford down pipe and the exhaust? I need a 2.25" (internal diameter) donut gasket, but not sure where to get one....
I found a donut gasket at a local muffler shop, i had to order the right size but it was pretty cheap and came in 2 days. I didnt use stafford piping, i got a custom downpipe made as well from that shop so it wasn't too much of a hassle.

You should have seen the dumptube SF included - it was extremely restricted and made out of mild steel (if that - almost looked like alumized steel). I ordered some stainless piping and flanges and redid it, which is why it took so long to install this damn thing - I had to test fit a lot of it. The welder did a fab job welding everything up - the clearance between the dumptube and AC lines / manifold is tight to say the least.

I THINK the Teg has that size, but I'm not too sure. I may have to make a few phone calls tomorrow.
In other news - my LED boost gauge is working - but I need to calibrate it, which will be a beyatch. Need to think of a way to hook up a digital tire pressure gauge to it.....Any ideas anyone?

Opto--> You are awesome. I <3 you! Setup looks freaking great, gives hope to all us LX guys..
I can't wait to start building the turbo kit for my civic. Can you take a few pictures for me..
if you could it would be awesome.. (I'm sure i'll have plenty of questions)
1)Upclose of the WW-resevoir and the pipe going through it..
2)I don't know, but any electrical stuff you put on the firewall --> i got an Oil Pressure Gauge and I'm gonna put some stuff on the firewall.. I'll find a pic of it from www.hondatech.com so you can know where it is and what I'm talking about.. (it's a bunch of T-fittings so you don't have all the oil pressure gauge equipment hanging off of the back of the engine.
3) any misc. pics that want to make me beat it even more than i already have looking at your kit.. it's amazing.
Good work, you are probably one of the most influential posters of all time, so keep up the good work!

Well Opto that is quite a piece, but I already have Vtec, so the VTEC Conversion Kit / Turbo Oil Feed sandwich plate might not do the job for me.
I will have to just stick with the 4 way Tee for my Oil pressure switch, Oil Pressure Gauge, Turbo Oil Supply, and Block (or is it Oil Pan?).

It is an adaptor plate basically - that has 2 ports on it. You can use them for whatever you want. I used one for the oil pressure gauge, and the other for the turbo feed line...

So I, having vtec already, makes no difference. I can use it the same as you?
One for the Gauge, and other for turbo feed line, yes?
I assume the SF turbo kit oil feed line will fit on there properly.
Where does that adaptor plate connect to the engine?

Yes, you can use one hole for a gauge and another for a feed line.
Most likely... unless they used BSPT.. because the oil sandwich is NPT..
Exactly what it says.. oil sandwich.. between the block and the filter..

OMFG - BOOST IS FVCKIN' AWESOME!!!
After taking it a little easy on the car, my friend and I took it for a ride. The SSQV sounds AWESOME, the wastegate works great, its bad ***!
I think I have a boost leak somewhere tho - have to do another assessment of everything after this first run. Wastegate with open dumptube sounds mean when it actuates!
I never saw more than 5 PSI.....WOW!

Oh yeah - I think I found where my boost is leaking! :doh
I need to find some sort of **** that will seal up the black silicone 90 on my throttle body - I drilled a hole in it for my IAT, sealed it up with RTV, but apparently its not holding.....hmmmm.
