Question Possible Swap Problems?

Okay, so I'm thinking of a swap or turbo, as everyone else pretty much is, yet I am currently leaning toward a swap, due to legal issues with the turbo, and moreso the problems turbo can lead to with a D17.

So my question is, what possible problems can I run into with a swap--long term and short term? Thanks.

well if you drive like a human being you'll have no different problems than someone in a RSX would have. In other words, keep up on the up-keep (chuckle chuckle) oil, fluids, belts, and you'll be good to go. Thats the benifit of a swap, your running a stock motor, just from another car.

Okay, I feel stupid.

Thanks a lot for the info. My excuse is that I was at a carwash when I typed this thread, so all I was thinking about was problems [lame, I know...]

yeah if your swap is ghetto rigged in there with wires scotch taped to each other, you run a risk. as long as you route everything smartly and don't do something dumb a stock car wouldn't have (like run a fuel line 2 inches from exhaust piping) then you'll be pretty worry free
