HP Turbo?
hey guys, sorry this is my 2nd post, but i was wondering if you guys know anything about the HP turbo kit for our cars. On their website it says the kit is for 01-04 vtec civics. will this fit on an LX? they mention 185whp at only 5psi
sounds good? any feedback would be helpful
thanks

^hmm never heard of it...post the link
and 185 WHP at 5psi is super high, so they might be exaggerating the numbers a bit. It could be done, but would hafta be a super efficient system with a slightly larger turbo than most are running I would assume.

been talked about b4
PM dirk21............he was the test car and is now selling the kit.
The kit has no fuel system and relies soley on Alcohol Injection for fuel suplementation

the test guy that is seling stated it does have a fuel system. it looks like a really good kit too me. ive seen a lot of hokey kit out there but this one seems pretty complete and of good quality.

yeah, he has alcohol injection. Alcohol injection should not be used as a primary fuel system, just for supplemental fuel.

ummmm
they claimed 185WHP on a car which is not NA... yours is Daily Driven they tested it on a full race engine so the numbers are more...
they might have put an extra 10G's on the car before they slapped that turbo on that 01-04civic... coz 5psi on a car with some bolt ons is just about 150-160 FMU dyno tuned...
but hey, ask around more about it, some more research maybe, before you jump on something that would cost alot of money, I saw one 7thgen that gotten an HP kit and he was selling it for like 1200
you know what that means... coz a "sounds good kit" may not be a good kit installed! and will cause some serious problems... unless otherwise you a baller and have lotsa dough to spend... then maybe you can loan me some so I can buy me some internals for my ride
I'll pay you back... I promise
just wanted to help and collect my .05
