Calling all Boosted 7thgen EX's!!!

I got my gauges, and SF intercooler mounted and I'm installing my turbo this weekend... but I don't have the time and money to get mine dyno tuned!

I'll be running 7PSI and i'll be using VAFC2 for alternate FMU any of you boosted guys running with VAFC/VAFC2, if it is dyno tuned? is it necessary to get a missing link even if I'm runnin low boost?

and also to all you guys who installed Apexi turbo timer for NA and Turbo Application, can you guys hook me up with a DIY? the one on this website is different from Apexi wiring, I'm just lookin for the O2 Sensor Wire on the ECU then I'm set... Thanks for the help!!!

PM me! thanks guys!!!

Does anyone know of any aftermarket head gaskets for D17 to lower compression slightly. I keep blowing Headgaskets at 12psi. Internals are fine. Just keep blowing pinhole size in the waterjackets inside the head.

^^^^?? WTF? If he uses a steel headgasket he will be able to support more boost. Hot air? Thats what the intercooler is for when u turbo..to cool the air down......stop posting at 1:44 am, tiredness isn't good for you.

Get the Nippon leakless HG. And you should lower your boost setting fa real. If not, then i suggest selling your VAFC and buying a E-manage. The E-manage will allow you to retard your timing

I am on my second Nippon leakless from Honda. Does anyone know of a company like Cometic that sales thicker headgaskets to lower compression? Some of yuo net junkys should know of a place for the D17.

so why the *** do we need turbo timers for? I'll just sit in my car for 2mins and turn it off...

so everybody here can't lock their car while the turbo timer is on? there should be a bypass or something right? tell me that there is... anybody done this yet?

to lock your car while the car is running...when you get out, stick the key in the door and turn it...that will lock it....has keyless entry caused us all to forget that...we can still do it manually ....also, you dont need the vafc2 to run your car...the sf fuel setup is fine....i suggest taking it to a shop and use a wideband to tune it....or get the aem uego like me, and do it yourself....using someone elses settings are good....all of our cars are different, plus guns's settings are for 12lbs if that is the amount of boost that he is running....

I did tried that, but what I'm sayin is that, I can't arm the alarm system, at night the car being lock and the alarm system not armed is the same thing as it's not locked at all... man if I knew that the TT is a total crap I shouldn't have gotten the damn thing...

turbo timer is nessecary....of course you cant arm the alarm when the car is running...when you say arm it at night, just wait until it stops, like when you are inside, then step outside and arm it

^^^I actually got it working... my alarm system have a 2mins default auto arm, so by locking the doors manually and after the engine stops, It takes 2mins for it to arm itself... hehehe I just got to excited and became to impatient and b!tched about it right away so I deserve a>>>

but on the side note:

how many mins/secs do you guys set your TT to? is 2mins too long? maybe a min is perfect? thanks!
